We release the performance your car left the factory hiding.
No bolt-ons. No shortcuts. Your engine, exactly as it was engineered.
Custom ECU and TCU calibration — mapped to your car, your fuel, your goals.
Fuel. Timing. Boost. Shift points. Nothing generic survives.
CPI is a South African–born vehicle software company. We engineer custom ECU and gearbox calibrations that release real performance — and we do it without sacrificing the reliability your car was built with.
Custom engine calibration that releases the output your platform can genuinely support — measured, not guessed.
Economy-focused mapping for drivers who want to stretch every tank further, not just chase numbers.
Performance doesn't have to come at the cost of reliability. Every map respects the engineering under it.
Custom remapping of fuel, ignition timing and boost — calibrated per vehicle for meaningful, usable gains in power and torque.
Faster shifts, smarter shift points and raised torque limits — so the gearbox keeps up with everything the engine gains.
Chasing a ten-second quarter mile, or stretching every tank further — there's a calibration built for each.
2020+ BMW ECUs opened in-house — fully compatible with the platforms tuners actually use.
Vehicles tuned with CPI software regularly make some of the highest kW figures in their classes.
— CPI's own words. See the cars themselves on Instagram @cpiperformance.
CPI software is installed and supported through a certified dealer network across Southern and East Africa — so your tune comes with a workshop behind it.
Every token below is load-bearing on the website. Nothing here is decorative documentation — if the site stops using a value, the value leaves the system.
Four references, one steal each — never more than two decisions from the same source. The synthesis, plus CPI's own logo, red and voice, is the brand.
Film first, then bands. One band = one screen = one idea. Scroll is the only clock — nothing on the site animates on its own.
Three sizes total. Display is Saira Condensed in italic — the same speed-slant as the CPi wordmark. Body is Archivo. Data and labels are JetBrains Mono.
Real, pressable specimens. Primary carries the only saturated red surface on the page — ghost carries a slate border that ignites on hover.
Red is the only accent, and it appears at most twice per screen. Every ratio below is measured with WCAG relative luminance, not eyeballed. Click a swatch to copy its hex.
What not to do, beside the right way.
Spread red everywhere. Their current site made the opposite mistake — no red at all. The brand lives in the tension: black ground, red used like a warning light.
Red appears at most twice per screen: one label, one action. Everything else is carbon, slate and white.
Let anything animate on its own. Idle float loops read as a stale image sliding around.
Scroll is the only clock. Stop scrolling and the page is still. Arrival reveals fire once, then rest.
Set display type upright. The wordmark is speed-slanted — upright headlines argue with it.
Every display setting is italic Saira Condensed, uppercase, tight-leaded — the headline drives in the same direction as the logo.
Every visual that ships on the website is on this page — with its file, ratio and role. The whole world could be rebuilt from this tab alone.
The film is six chained keyframes, each generated with the previous one as its reference so light, grade and world are inherited, never re-invented. The camera only ever travels deeper into the machine.

Everything the site loads, by file.
The film scrubs on a canvas at its native 24fps — every frame ships, none are decimated. A lerped playhead (factor 0.14) makes the scrub settle like a flywheel. Below the film, sections rise once on arrival and then hold still. Everything respects prefers-reduced-motion.
Every face carries its designer, foundry, source and licence. All three ship as self-hosted woff2.
Where the words come from, what was cut, and every line shown against the line it replaced. The toggle at the bottom swaps the live website between the two.
Nothing here is invented. The voice is CPI's own — confident, enthusiast-facing, and every performance promise is paired with reliability. The raw material is their existing site and their real dealer network; the rebuild sharpens it, it does not replace it.
"Dominate the road." "Take your ride to the next level." "Premium performance, redefined." Adjective stacks, empty superlatives, and any sentence that could sell a different product unchanged.
Specifics: fuel, timing, boost, shift points. Real numbers only where CPI has earned them — 20+ dealers, 4 countries. No invented stats, users or testimonials anywhere on the page.
Left: the line on cpituned.co.za today. Right: the rebuild.
One button rewrites every headline on the website in place — the rebuild against the current copy, both directions, no layout jump. Flip it, then open the Website tab.
